Use cases

Thirteen situations, one reflex

Each time: the situation, how people find out today, and what Ohey changes.

Families and activities

Parents’ everyday life: the week’s clubs, tournaments, the holiday club.

The parent

“Practice cancelled”

Wednesday, 5:45 pm. The gym is closed because of a water leak.

BeforeYou find out at the door, with your daughter already in her kit.
With OheyThe coach posts it from the car park in ten seconds, and you get the notification before you even get in the car.
The family

“All their activities, one app”

Football on Wednesday, gym on Saturday, holiday club during the school holidays.

BeforeThree group chats, a notice board, papers in the school bag.
With OheyOne scan per activity, and everything arrives in the same place, with everyone’s schedule in your calendar.
The tournament

“Next match at 2:20 pm, pitch 3”

Spring tournament, sixteen teams, four pitches, times that keep slipping.

BeforeEveryone crowds around a sheet taped to the snack bar.
With OheyYou follow your child’s team and get the next match, the pitch and the results live.
The holiday club

“Bring a packed lunch and a raincoat”

Wednesday’s outing is confirmed.

BeforeThe news is on a board at the entrance, which you miss when you drop your child off in a hurry.
With OheyThe activity leader tells the 6–8 year-olds’ group the day before, with what to bring.

Holidays and destinations

At the campsite, in the resort, at the museum or on an organised trip: the app you already have works on holiday too.

The campsite

“The pétanque contest moves under the marquee”

It’s raining, the programme changes.

BeforeThe activity leader rewrites the board at the front desk, which nobody looks at.
With OheySubscribed holidaymakers are told, and the front desk’s screen updates itself. When the stay ends, the campsite goes to sleep on their phone.
The resort

“What shall we do today?”

You scan the treetop park’s QR code.

BeforeOne brochure per provider, opening times to look up on five different websites.
With OheyYou also discover the swimming pool, tonight’s hike and the pétanque contest, offered by the tourist office. With “Today in the resort”, the whole day fits on one screen, and each provider updates its own information.
The group trip

“Departure brought forward to 7:45, platform 3”

Coach excursion, river cruise or guided tour: fifty people who don’t know each other, and times that shift.

BeforeThe guide sets up a WhatsApp group, collects the numbers of fifty strangers and hands out their own; those who aren’t in it find out at the last minute.
With OheyA QR code handed out on the coach or printed on the ticket, and the whole group gets the meeting point, the day’s schedule and practical information. Readable offline once loaded (boat, mountains, abroad), and nothing to install thanks to the web page. When the trip ends, the channel goes to sleep.

Shops

Opening hours, exceptional openings and dishes of the day, without ads.

The shop

“Exceptionally open on Sunday”

Your bakery opens on the Sunday before Christmas.

BeforeA notice in the window, an out-of-date Google listing.
With OheyIts customers know on Saturday, in their daily digest, without being bothered by ads.
The restaurant

“Dishes of the day”

Lunchtime is coming, you’re torn between two places near the office.

BeforeThe menu board is on the pavement, you find it as you walk past; the dish of the day is on Instagram, if you think of looking.
With OheyThe restaurant owner enters the dishes in the morning, six at most, prices optional. At 11 am, a single “Dishes of the day” notification groups all your restaurants; the “Book” button leads to their booking page, and at midnight the dishes disappear on their own.

Cinemas and theatres

A programme that changes every week, special screenings, last-minute changes: audiences keep up.

The independent cinema or theatre

“8:30 pm screening moved to Thursday”

An arthouse cinema, a small theatre: the programme changes every Wednesday, with previews, screenings followed by a debate and post-show talks.

BeforeThe printed programme at the box office, a newsletter few people read, a website updated when there’s time; and on the night of a cancellation, people waiting outside the door.
With OheyThe week’s programme is entered once, each screening with its time and screen. Subscribers find it in their daily summary, a cancelled or moved screening alerts them straight away, and tonight’s talk with the director goes out as one announcement. The same programme shows on the lobby screen and on the A4 poster with its QR code.

Networks

Those who oversee several organisations: committees, town halls, groups.

The town hall or the committee

“Gyms closed on Saturday”

A water cut affects every gym in town.

BeforeAn e-mail to each club president, who passes it on, or not.
With OheyThe sports department posts once, and the news reaches every member of every club concerned.
A group’s holiday resort

“Without going through head office”

Aqua aerobics moves to 4 pm.

BeforeThe activity leader sends the news to head office, which might post it tomorrow.
With OheyThey post it themselves for their resort, and head office keeps control of the accounts and the shared news.

Editors

For whoever posts: nothing to retype.

The coach who already keeps a calendar

“Nothing to retype”

You already keep your schedule in Google Calendar or Outlook.

BeforeRetype everything in one more tool, and keep it up to date in two places.
With OheyYou link it once. Every session moved or cancelled in your calendar tells the parents automatically.
